The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India had released the Mid-term Review of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20, with the focus expected to be on policy measures to boost the exports of goods and services and to increase employment generation and value-addition in the country. The mid-term review of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 has made corrective changes as per the evolving global trade scenario and to align with the changes in the indirect taxes regime with the introduction of GST from 1st July 2017.
With this backdrop, Foreign Trade and Investment Committee of PHD Chamber is organizing a Special Interactive session on Mid Term Review of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. Shri Sanjay Beswal, Co-Chairman of Foreign Trade and Investment Committee, PHDCCI will be giving a detailed presentation on the announcements made in the Mid-term Review of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
Members of PHD Chamber can provide their view points on the Mid Term Review of Foreign Trade Policy, so that a detailed representation can be prepared for the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
